Let's Talk Money | Self-Assessment Quiz

Dealing with Shame.

When life brings the inevitable suffering and disappointment that it does, we can resolve in the Peace of God by taking consolation in the Holy Spirit and seeking guidance in the Bible.

John 14:16

"And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows him; but you know Him , for He dwells with you and I will be in you."

God gives us strength and power to accomplish innumerable feats in this life. However, those areas in which our human strength fails us, we have the Holy Spirit to confide in. The Holy Spirit is our guide, our shepherd, our intuition and our source of divine clarity. As God's chosen people, we must learn to trust in the guidance and the shepherding of the Holy Spirit so that in time of trial, struggle and heartache we have peace.

As Women of Excellence we understand the importance of reading and meditating on the Word of God so that it can be imbedded into our Spirit and used as a weapon so that when the attack of Shame, Defeat, Worry, Doubt, Anger and Disappointment threatens us--it will not prevail.

In these times of turmoil, it is also inevitable to encounter tears. There is no need to be ashamed of your tears either, it a natural biological response to sadness, a healthy release and indeed serves a purpose in the kingdom of Heaven.

Jeremiah 9:17

"Thus says the Lord of hosts:

Consider and call for the mourning women, That they may come; And send for skillful wailing women, They they may come."

The Lord welcomes your sorrow, pain and tears. The key is to lament, yet confide those tears in the hope, the heart and the bosom of the Lord so as to receive revival. The Lord is looking for women who will mourn in the strength of his arms instead of looking to answers elsewhere in the world: (medications, destructive habits, poor counsel, etc.)  There are many instances in which Jesus would call for the widowed, disenfranchised and sinful women who were turned away by the world and ridiculed for simply just being women.

As a Women of Excellence we commit our hearts to the Lord, even in the event of tears knowing that our strength lays within those moments of weakness.

I leave you with this...

Lamentations 3:25
"The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the Salvation of the Lord."

Quiet Time is a gift, cherish it.
Heal, Recover and be at Peace. Do not meditate on shame or consider this a loss but be Lifted in this Gift of Time...something most if not many of us are in need of.

Financial Wellbeing | how I healed my relationship to money

Money, Credit Repair, Debt Cancellation, Credit Worthiness... These all seemed like big words, BIG ideas, BIG goals to me...I'd look at the numbers and feel overwhelmed by the weight of my reality until I began to understand that Money like everything else in my life was a Relationship I had to build and required my full attention. "Money = Choices, Options, Freedom. - Emmy Award Winning Actress, Viola Davis." I started with understanding Money better... I knew what I wanted - but didn't know how to get there. As an Artist, my short-term goals, mainly as a gig worker, were to be able to travel for auditions, afford workshops and lunch/dinner dates with friends & to see shows without hesitation. Long-term, I wanted to have an emergency fund saved up, liquidity in my assets and a higher credit score to make large investments such as a mortgage or business loan if need be.
